I think that was not just a great line but a great last line. The idea of finding peace was hardly apparent throughout the episode, however, the entire episode for me completley shifted and opened up just as it closed.
To me everything so far in the season has been about laying this foundation, setting this table about the idea of finding peace. That's why there's so much disturbance and chaos. What have we found so far this season and again tonight? A lot of betrayal and consequence. Selfishness and consequence. Trust and consequence.
I thought last episode was much about exploring the idea of consequence and here this episode was about exploring the idea of betrayal moreso than we usually see. We had it from all angles in not only fidelity but also of friendship and business.
Peggy not only going with the Heinz thing but using Don's tutelage. Harry usurping Joan. Ketchup betraying Beans.
Then you had the idea of fidelity in Megan confiding with Don, open with him about what she has to do. And that scene she ended up doing in her show was a scene based on the idea of fidelity/infidelity, forcing Don to see the symbolism. Also the swinging aspect hits on that idea as well.
Then you have other explorations into the idea of consequence in that both Don and Joan had a usual Mad Men parallel storyline in that both used sex as power as a consequence of feeling betrayed and the power loss of being betrayed.
Everything in this episode had that common theme running and intertwined throughout in an implied element of chaos caused by betrayal.
Then came the very end and it's like a door opened up, which Roger would probably like after his diatribe to the psychiatrist about doors windows etc.
She prays for peace for him.
It's strangely enough seeming to possibly be getting to be about the idea of this latest of Don's women being almost an angel of sorts.Twice now we've had very poignant lines at the end in his time with her that are about bigger and greater things than the events of the respective episodes. Don wants to stop being Don which is the only way he'll ever see any sort of inner peace, and here tonight we find out she wants peace for him.

Peace is the last thing any of these people have.
